A year ago, owning my own business was a daydream. I worked hard at my career, gave everything to achieve my bosses bottom line, and ended my day barely present enough to make dinner and read a bedtime story to my daughter. The years before had been similar, fraught with turmoil and loss - as with all of humanity during a global pandemic. But I found that this time left me with a new sense of resilience and a fearless need to make my moments last. I wanted to be present with my family and loved ones, and desperately needed to be for my own state of mind. I bought The Hitch, quit my job and dove in head first into the unknown world of small business!
Creating Moments
The world is filled with folks like you and me who are craving real connection. We seek it out every day and it’s necessary for our mental health. We find it when sitting quietly among nature, reading a good book as we sip comforting brews, or socializing with friends as we toast to better times. We revel in warm ambiance, breathe in nostalgia and taste with our full heart.
We want to create a space that embraces these moments and offers a unique and personalized experience that will leave lasting memories for you and your guests.
Creative Concoctions
We aim to create something new and unique with each event. A redo of a classic, a spirit-free elixir, or simply a new presentation can bring a distinct sense of wonder and fun! If you have a quirky idea or special inspiration, we’d love to incorporate it into our service or offerings!
Something different
The Hitch is set up as a mobile bartending cart, but that doesn’t mean it has to serve up drinks! If you have a specialty service need - hors d’oeuvres, desserts, merchandise - we can make your minds eye a reality!
A Wide Range of Mobility
The Hitch is best suited for open outdoor spaces but can maneuver enough for more intimate spaces as well. We have hosted events in picturesque fields, at venues next to reception tents or inside tented areas, inside and outside of barns and even in small backyards!
